How It Started

Alicia, aka Guitarishy,  started collecting used hotel room keys and gift cards when she was tiny, her parents and other family members would bring her cards as souvenirs.  Faced with a massive collection, she wondered “How can I put this to good use?”  She talked her mom into ordering a guitar pick maker and contacted Little Kids Rock, an organization that provides under priveleged kids with musical instruments and instruction, and shipped them 400 picks to distribute with their guitars.

Around the same time she was taxed with finding a way to fundraise for her French class trip to France.  She started packaging up picks and selling them on Etsy.
