First Out-of-State Order

Thank you Matthew in Atlanta, Georgia! I’m sure you’ll be pleased with your picks 🙂

My First Interview

I just got off the phone with Brian from WWJ News Radio 950! He was so nice and I’m so excited to be on the radio! Check back later to find out when it’ll air 😀

There’s a link on the Press page.

Trip to Somerset

Just got back from the mall with a (very heavy) purse full of 323 used gift cards, which means 1615 future picks! A big thank you to Forever 21, For Love 21, Journey’s, the Lego store, Pacsun, the Body Shop, the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and EB Games. Also stopped by Claire’s, Lush, Build-A-Bear, Hollister, and Lucky (where my mom talked to a “lovely young man”) who all kindly agreed to collect their used gift cards for me.  I waited in the Detroit Shoppe for 10 minutes while the manager was on the phone and ended up leaving a bag and letter for him…hope he saves some used cards for me!

Thanks Jeff L.

For your recent order.  Your picks are on their way!

How It Started

Alicia, aka Guitarishy, had a huge collection of used hotel room keys and gift cards that friends and family gave her as souvenirs. She wanted to put them to good use, so she found a guitar pick puncher and up-cycled the unusable cards into usable guitar picks. She donated the first 400 picks to Little Kids Rock, an organization dedicated to bringing musical opportunities to underprivileged kids. Now she is selling picks as a fundraiser for her class trip to France.

While you pluck away with your one-of-a-kind picks, remember that you are benefiting the planet AND helping a student’s dream come true.
